We put a lot thought into our candles at the Good Earth Candle Company. Each and every one is poured by hand in small batches at our barn in the town of Rowley located on the North Shore of Massachusetts. Our entire candle making process is completely done by hand in small batches, beginning from blending through pouring to our exclusive temperature controlled curing to ensure the highest level of quality and consistency.

Our natural, 100% pure soy candles are all infused with essential oils. Having soy as a base is a good thing because soy is a lot better for you and the world than paraffin wax, which comes from petroleum, coal or oil shale.

The Benefits of Burning Soy

Soy candles are affordable – Beeswax is also an alternative to paraffin wax, but it is very expensive. Soy wax is an alternative to paraffin wax and beeswax that is cost effective. Soy wax is made from renewable resources, and we only use 100-percent pure soy wax from soybean crops grown on farms in the USA. 

Soy wax is all-natural – Soy wax is not made from petroleum, like paraffin candles. Burning soy candles does not increase the CO2 level in the atmosphere.

Soy candles last longer – Soy candles can last up to 50% longer than paraffin candles.

Wax spills are easy to clean – Soy wax spills can easily be cleaned up with hot soapy water. Paraffin wax is difficult to remove from textiles or furniture.

Soy candles produce less soot – Soy candles produce about 90% less soot that paraffin candles. Soot from paraffin candles is very unhealthy and will eventually coat your walls and furniture.

Scented soy candles smell better – Soybean oil has a lower melting point than parafin wax, which translates into cooler burning candles and faster scent dispersion. The lower melting point of soy wax results in a larger size of the liquid wax pool around the candle wick. It is from this liquid wax pool that the essential oils evaporate into the atmosphere.

We even think about the wicks – Good Earth candles use hand-spun, paper-core natural cotton wicks that are free from lead and zinc.
